Our Purpose

Each child is unique and requires help to fulfill the biblical guidelines stated in the book of Luke 2:52, "... and Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and favor with God and man."  Our purpose is to assist each child with their mental, physical, and social growth through positive classroom experiences provided by caring Christian teachers with oversight by our Board of Directors.

Our goal

Our basic emphasis is to focus on the positive development of: self-confidence, social awareness, physical development, and spiritual growth of each child. To accomplish these goals we have developed a corresponding varied curriculum.

Preschool Now Enrolling!

The King's Kids Preschool Class

       * This is a combined 3 year old and 4 year old class

        * Children must be 3 years old by August 31

         *Class meets Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9-11:30 a.m.

         * Children who are 4 by August 31 will attend M, W, F

         *Children who are 3 by August 31 will attend M, W

         *Tuition is $160.00 a month for those attending M, W, F

          * Tuition is $135.00 a month for those attending M, W

        

  Extended Day Class

      *Children must be enrolled in the King's Kids Class

      *Class meets on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

      *Tuition is $65.00 a month

       * Children provide their own lunch

 

 Loving Lions Kid's Day Out Class

     * *For children ages 2 1/2 - 5 years old (must be potty trained)

      *Class meets on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

      *Tuition is $125.00 a month

      * Children provide their own lunch

 Little Lambs Kid's Day Out Class

      *Class meets on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

      *Tuition is $125.00 a month

      *For children ages 1 and walking to 2 1/2 years old

       * Children provide their own lunch

     Mrs. Tammy Culver - Director, Teacher for the King's Kids Classes

 

 Tammy started teaching at Bristol Hill Preschool in 1989 and has worked in the early childhood field since 1987. She took over as the Director in June of 2011. She is also the Choir Director at Bristol Hill United Methodist Church and she and her husband David are very involved with church activities. Tammy and David's grown children all live in the K.C. area and they have 4 grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family, caring for her grandchildren, animals, watching sports, especially high school and college teams and enjoys photography and scrap booking.

   

  Mrs. Lonna Hill- Assistant Teacher for the King's Kids Preschool Classes

 Lonna started teaching at Bristol Hill Preschool in 2016. Lonna has been caring for children for more than 40 years in preschools and childcare centers. When her children were growing up she was involved with PTA and helped the teachers throughout the years. She and her husband Mike have two grown children and Lonna has helped care for her 4 grandchildren since they were born. Lonna is a member of Bristol Hill UMC and has helped with VBS for many years.

 

 

Mrs. Sherry Hix - Teacher for the Loving Lion's Day Out Class for 2 1/2 - 5 Year Olds

 Sherry started teaching at Bristol Hill Preschool in 2017. Sherry is a member of Bristol Hill UMC and the Director of Children's Ministries. She has taught Sunday School and Children's Church for more than 20 years. She has been VBS Director for many years and has accompanied the youth on several mission trips over the years. Sherry and her husband Keith's grown children live in the area and they have 5 grandchildren who she helps care for.

     Mrs. Sharon Yoder - Teacher for the Little Lambs Day Out Class

Sharon started teaching at Bristol Hill Preschool in 2015. She has worked with children of all ages at Bristol Hill UMC for over 25 years teaching Sunday School, helping with VBS and working with the youth, including going on several mission trips. She and her husband Paul have a son, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren! They are members of Bristol Hill UMC and are both very involved with the church and enjoy singing in the choir. Sharon loves animals and enjoys crafting.
